Πραγματοποιήθηκε με μεγάλη επιτυχία στους χώρους του παλαιού Δημοτικού Σχολείου της Αράχωβας η Επιστημονική Συνάντηση με θέμα «Αράχωβα: Παραδοσιακός πολιτισμός και τοπική οικονομία» που οργάνωσε το Κέντρον Ερεύνης της Ελληνικής Λαογραφίας της Ακαδημίας Αθηνών και ο Δήμος Διστόμου-Αράχωβας-Αντίκυρας, Δημοτική Ενότητα Αράχωβας. Στις εργασίες της συνάντησης συμμετείχαν επίσης εκπρόσωποι Συλλόγων, τοπικών φορέων και πολλοί κάτοικοι.
