     Το Κέντρον Ερεύνης της Ελληνικής Λαογραφίας της Ακαδημίας Αθηνών με απόφαση της Εφορευτικής του Επιτροπής πραγματοποίησε ομιλία του εθνολόγου και συλλέκτη  Νίκου Παπαγεωργίου με θέμα «Η πορεία του θεάτρου Σκιών από την Ανατολή στη Δύση» με προβολή πλούσιου οπτικού υλικού από τις Συλλογές του.  Την ομιλία, η οποία έγινε στην Αίθουσα τελετών του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών παρακολούθησε πολύ κοινό, το οποίο είχε την ευκαιρία να δεί εκατοντάδες διαφάνειες με μορφές του θεάτρου Σκιών από την Aπω Ανατολή.
