Την Πέμπτη 7 Ιουλίου 2011 επισκέφθηκε και ξεναγήθηκε στο κτήριο του Κέντρου Λαογραφίας ομάδα φοιτητών επί πτυχίω στον Ελληνικό Πολιτισμό στην Θεματική Ενότητα (ΕΛΠ 41) Δημόσιος και Ιδιωτικός Βίος στην Ελλάδα ΙΙ: Οι Νεώτεροι Χρόνοι (Λαογραφία) του Ελληνικού Ανοικτού Πανεπιστημίου (Ε.Α.Π.). Οι φοιτητές ξεναγήθηκαν από την ερευνήτρια κ. Ανδρομάχη Οικονόμου στην έκθεση "Διακοσμημένα Αβγά απ' όλο τον Κόσμο, Συλλογή Νίκου Παπαγεωργίου" του Κέντρου Λαογραφίας στον χώρο του Κέντρου Λαϊκής Τέχνης και Παράδοσης του Δήμου Αθηναίων (οικία Αγγελικής Χατζημιχάλη).
