    Την Τετάρτη 3 Νοεμβρίου 2010 πραγματοποιήθηκε ξενάγηση των δασκάλων παραδοσιακού χορού του Λυκείου των Ελληνίδων Αθηνών και συγκεκριμένα των μετεχόντων στο Επιμορφωτικό Σεμινάριο Χοροδιδασκάλων στο κτήριο του Κέντρου Ερεύνης της Ελληνικής Λαογραφίας. Τους σπουδαστές που συνόδευαν ο καθηγητής Ιωάννης Ζέρβας, η κυρία Λίλη 'Aτζακα-Βέη και ο καλλιτεχνικός διευθυντής της Χορευτικής Ομάδας του Λυκείου Λευτέρης Δρανδάκις, οι οποίοι έχουν και την επιστημονική επιμέλεια και το συντονισμό του Σεμιναρίου, υποδέχθηκαν η διευθύντρια του Κέντρου Αικατερίνη Πολυμέρου-Καμηλάκη και ερευνητές του Κέντρου.

 

    Στους εκπαιδευόμενους έγινε παρουσίαση του Λαογραφικού Αρχείου και της Μουσειακής Συλλογής από τον ερευνητή Ευάγγελο Καραμανέ. Ακολούθησε αναλυτική ενημέρωση από την Αικατερίνη Πολυμέρου–Καμηλάκη για την λαογραφική έρευνα στη διαχρονία της, για τις επιτόπιες έρευνες του Κέντρου και τις εργασίες ταξινόμησης του λαογραφικού υλικού κυρίως μέσω της ανάπτυξης ειδικών βάσεων δεδομένων. Στο πλαίσιο της επιμόρφωσης των εκπαιδευομένων οι ερευνήτριες Μαρία Ανδρουλάκη και Ζωή Μάργαρη παρουσίασαν συνοπτικά τα μεθοδολογικά εργαλεία και τα θεωρητικά αναλυτικά και ερμηνευτικά σχήματα προσέγγισης της παραδοσιακής μουσικής και του χορού όπως αυτά εφαρμόζονται στο Κέντρο. Επίσης έγινε παρουσίαση των πρόσφατων εκπαιδευτικών και μουσικοχορευτικών εκδόσεων του Κέντρου. Στο τέλος ακολούθησε συζήτηση.

    Στους σπουδαστές διανεμήθηκαν ενημερωτικά φυλλάδια ενώ η κυρία Αικ. Πολυμέρου–Καμηλάκη τους απηύθυνε ανοικτή πρόσκληση φιλοξενίας και συνεργασίας για την σπουδή και μελέτη θεμάτων του λαϊκού πολιτισμού.
