Το Κέντρο Λαογραφίας συμμετείχε με εισήγηση της Διευθύντριας κυρίας Αικατερίνης Πολυμέρου-Καμηλάκη στην Ημερίδα με θέμα "Ο λαϊκός πολιτισμός ως μοχλός ανάπτυξης. Το παράδειγμα της Λέσβου" που οργάνωσε ο Πολιτιστικός Σύλλογος Πλωμαρίου "Το Πόλιον" στο Πλωμάρι της Λέσβου.
